{skinny} Stars and Stripes Margarita

The Fourth of July is swiftly approaching!  Time to start planning your BBQ menu.

The  {skinny} Stars and Stripes Marg is quite the beverage to get your guests nice and tipsy! Tastes a bit like the typical skinny girl marg, but with a daily dose of fruit and an
All-American festive twist!

What you will need:
Silver Tequila- I used Patron
Lime flavored soda water
Frozen Blueberries
Ice Cubes

Muddle 4 strawberries in the serving glass
Combine 1.5 oz tequila, juice of half of a lime and a handful of ice to shaker- shake well
Pour  mixture over the muddled stawberries, fill the rest of the glass with the soda water
Top with a handful of frozen blueberries
Garnish with a whole strawberry and drink up!

Makes one margarita!

Wedding Crashers

In honor of today being Friday, let's have some fun!

Is Wedding Crashers your favorite movie?
Do you dream of one day successfully crashing a wedding?
If so, then you are in luck!

Due to the help of this new {beta} app, Crash Corsage, anyone can now be a professional Wedding Crasher.

The app uses the couple's wedding website to fill you in on all the important details of the event such as the location, how they met, attire for the wedding, and where their honeymoon is at.

Seems fake, right?  Watch the video to see for yourself!

Miami Bound!

Neon, neon, and more neon!!

I am headed to Miami this week for my cousin's bachelorette party with 12 California girls for a weekend of debauchery!
We are beyond excited- I keep catching myself yelling, "I'm in Miami, Bitch!"

My outfits are all planned and my suitcase is jam packed with colorful ViX bikinis, Forever 21 accessories, and party dresses.

Let the countdown to Wednesday begin!

P.S- How cute are these DIY glitterized champagne flutes we made?  We added some good ol' Martha Stewart glue to the bottom and doused them in bright glitter.
They are all packed and ready for some South Beach cocktails!

Weekend Getaway: Tiburon

Oh Tiburon!
My new favorite hidden gem tucked away right across the Golden Gate Bridge.

Last weekend, I surprised my boyfriend with a weekend getaway to Tiburon for his birthday.  It is the cutest little town full of sweeping ocean views, fancy homes, biking trails, greenery, and eateries.
The birthday boy's itinerary!
We spent the morning sipping on mimosas and bloody mary's on the deck of Sam's Anchor Cafe, which overlooks the bustling yacht harbor.
Brunching at Sam's Anchor Cafe with good friends

Then we made our way up the street to Guaymas, an upscale mexican restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating and beautiful views of the San Francisco skyline and Angel Island.

Our hotel, The Lodge at Tiburon, was cozy and newly remodeled.  We were blocks away from the water, downtown area, and great views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

On Sunday, we hopped on the 10 minute ferry ride to Angel Island.  We rented bikes and rode around the whole island, which only took about an hour.  Our favorite part!

Until next time, Tiburon!
